Running MarratechMarratech will run on any PC or Mac with the following system specifications
Note: Marratech requires a broadband connection with at least 128 kbps in upload speed. Use of H.264 video requires Pentium IV 3.0 GHz, Dual Power PC or equivalent. For full details of recommended hardware, click your system here: Windows PC Mac OS X Linux Redhat Firewalls Now you need to register, download and install the Marratech free client software. You will be presented with options to load the appropriate verion for PC Windows, Mac or Linux. (Note that your anti-virus software may check the installation file) After downloading, install the software by running the file. Then start the application as usual (from the Start menu 'Programs' on a Windows PC, or from the Application folder on a Mac). You are presented with a Startup Wizard the first time you launch the application which guides you through the setup of the primary functions of Marratech, your name, audio and video settings, etc. You can now join you colleagues or talk to us in one of Marratech's public rooms.
RECOMMENDED HARDWARE PC/WINDOWS These tables show hardware that has been tested by Marratech and that works together with Marratech's client software. We recommend checking for the latest available video drivers from the respective manufacturers web sites and upgrading if appropriate. AUDIO HARDWARE:
VIDEO HARDWARE
** This is a PCI grabber card that needs to be installed into a fixed computer. *** USB 2.0 can theoretically give you a faster video update compared to a normal USB camera but it requires more bandwidth to perform better Top/Back
RECOMMENDED HARDWARE MAC OS X These tables show hardware that has been tested by Marratech and that works together with Marratech's client software. We recommend checking for the latest available video drivers from the respective manufacturers web sites and upgrading if appropriate. We do not recommend the use of USB camera and a USB headset. This combination can overload USB connections. AUDIO HARDWARE:
** You must have a USB converter such as Griffin iMic together with an analogue device. VIDEO HARDWARE
